I put some pictures where they should be in my previous posts. Check 'em out.
We had to be at the IES center this morning for a quick chat and then we headed to Glendalough which is an old monestary dating back to the 6th century. Pretty old stuff. We then headed to a lake and sat and chatted with each other and headed back to Dublin for dinner. A 3 hour dinner. It was three courses and very nice, and paid for by the center. But seriously, I had trouble sitting that long.
Our apartments are super super nice though. I just moved into a new apartment which is roomier but not as nice as the other one. Our TV is old and the remotes for it don't work, and we have a very old old computer, but we have two couches and an awesome table so I can't complian! We live about 30 minutes from the IES center. My roomate now goes to Trinity and we should be getting a European student in the next few weeks!

Care o Lean,
I'm loving the blog! Thank you so much for the hostel report. Can I tell you how thankful I am that I have never had to stay in one? :) I know you are going to get busy soon but don't forget to check in and just write a few lines when you can. You might think it is boring stuff but we are loving hearing what you are doig and who you are meeting. And by the way - you are one of my very favorite people too. xxoo
A 3 hour dinner?! Ridiculous! You will def will meet cooler people soon, Nancy should be back in town by mid-October but by then you will have met some totally awesome Irish peeps and be loving all your classes. I'm so excited for you... have fun!!
I don't mean to upset you Karlene, but I don't think you're going to find any Scandinavian countries in Ireland. I hope you got my text the other day. I love you! Bye!
