Perfection

That was today. Perfection. It was my favorite sort of day. Sleeping off late night fun, and waking up with no plans. Nothing to do, no where to be. I alone in charge of my days destiny. Waking up when my dreams had ceased and the alcohol had faded. Crawling out of bed to be greeted by yet another gorgous day of blue sky and sun. A trip to The Green to soak up some sun and of course, a little homework. Some friends joined me and we studied in the green grass under a blanket of sunshine the clouds have so mercifully allowed to reach us. The city comes alive on days like this. Everyone takes the opportunity to be outside. Patches of green grass are full of pic-nicers, nappers, and a few lovers ;). People stroll by eating ice cream, and sipping coffee. Birds fly above hoping for a scrap of a finished pic-nic. The ducks congregate near the edge of the pond to recieve chunks of stale bread from children who shrill with delight at their enounter with wildlife. This is why I love parks. Because they are for the people. There is no other function to a park, other than to be enjoyed by everyone. There are no guards at the entrances not allowing specific people in, like there are in the storefronts. Languages from around the world could be heard, and people from all economic and cultural backgrounds could share the day in peace. Because you can't take beautiful days away from anyone.

I made a little video.. so you could soak up my day too ;) http://s489.photobucket.com/albums/rr254/Theleaningkar/Everything/
