I've really been at camp this whole time!

It is all coming to an end so soon. I cannot believe it. Its like I've been at the longest summer camp ever. Just with booze and irish people. Lets compare study abroad with summer camp:
.You don't get to pick your roommates
.Usually they're strangers when you get there
.Everyone packs way more than they need, in anticipation of any event that may happen
.Pictures go up of family and friends back home
.You are surrounded by the same people all the time
.There is fighting over stupid things that only people who are together too much would be able to fight over.
.Everyone likes to gossip and find dirt on each other
.Most girls come with the expectation of finding their love
.There's always the how should I say, skanky? person
.There are great adventures to far off lands, like france or.. the woods.
.Everyone is excited to get mail from family members
.Everyone is more excited to get a package
.Those who didn't get mail are very jealous
.Those who didn't get the package are even more jealous, and force the receiver to share the goods
.You've seen each other at your worst, late for breakfast because the girls in your bunk stayed up all night talking about boys/hung over in class because.. well.. you know..
.You can't drive a car
.Everyone is very sad and yet very happy to leave
.Not being around those same people will feel very strange when back at home
.So it's not an endless comparison, there have to be some differences you know..

So in the end, I would like to say, I never drank at camp. Nor am I or ever was the skanky one. Just to clear that up. And don't even judge that statement because you all know it's true. Also, I come home soon. Holy Cows. I don't know what to do with myself. I don't even think you'll know me any more. I've changed. Drastically. I'm like a whole different human. But, we'll leave that for another post ;)
