Chicago has been so good to me so far. I think I've learned so many lessons that I mightn't have learned elsewhere:
1. Just because you graduated college, does not mean you are qualified for any sort of job.
2. Snow is good. If it's not snowing, it might be too cold to snow, and this is awful.
3. I chose to live on the damn windiest street in the windy city. Don't live next to the lake, unless you don't want to go outside.
4. It is not about what you know, but who you know.
5. Helping random drunk girls, will result in you wearing their throw up, and it will ruin your good time.
6. People are pretty friendly around here, and others are completely crazy. Public Transportation is a good way to meet both kinds.
7. Gloves are really hard to keep track of, I go through about one pair a month.
8. Just because boys are French, does not mean they are good at kissing ;)
9. Clubs are fun. Dancing can also be fun. Remembering what you did that night, is pricless.
10. Always pour your own drinks, so you can remember the night, in the morning.
Those are my top 10 most recent thoughts about Chi-Town. And things I now know, that I might not have before!

Hey Karlene! Caitlin Here!
Howdy from Texas,
I was curious about why you chose to move to Chicago. Job prospect? Sense of adventure? Stalking the ghost of Kurt Cobain?
