..and then I peed my pants.

My program has ended. It's so weird. I've become so very used to that group of people and my daily life in Dublin. I feel that I should just be able to go back to it, but now we're all spread across the country and will never be all together again. I pretty ok with that. Though there are a few people I will actually miss.

But let me tell you a little story:

Once upon a time my parents came to dublin and decided we should take a road trip around Ireland. Let me tell you something about Ireland. They drive on the left side of the road, and the roads aren't that great, and it rains. a lot. And let me tell you something else, which many of you know. My dad is a terrifying driver in the US. So, my dad, the scary US driver is much scarier driving on the other side of the road, on windy, skinny, rainy, dark roads. There were a few times we were pretty sure that we would die. My life might end by auto accident this week. I'm probably most accustomed to the road, but, I'm not old enough to drive. I am not sure Hertz realizes the danger they just but all the Irish in. I might be young, but, I am not yet senile.

I'm not sure you understand. I couldn't eat more than soup last night for dinner because my stomach was in such knots. The Hertz guy told us to keep to the middle line because you may hit the curb, Dad of course said this wouldn't happen. We 'kissed' some curbs. And by kissed I mean our car and those curbs had some good makeout sessions.

But, it's good to see my parents. I don't think they love Ireland. But, I do. So, that's all that matters. ;)

What can we say? Can't you drive and say you weren't? And now I know why you still have posted near the computer at home the statement that you "refuse to learn to drive with your father" -- and this from the time you were 16. You are quite consistent dear niece.
