Luas is the tram.

I was just told by an Irish man on the Luas that Ireland DOES have Mexican food and good cuisine. The only argument I put up was that they rip you off. He agreed. But inside I was saying: Dear Irish man, shut your mouth, because you do not know what you're talking about. I think your knowledge of mexican food and mine are different. And in a contest, I think i would win. While you do have mexican food, it is not actually mexican food. It seems someone explained mexican food to Irish people, and they attempted it, without any of the proper ingredients twisting it into this horrible experiment of fusion cuisine. And I would never pay 20 euro for a plate of fajitas. You shouldn't either. So, please, do not tell me about mexican food. I will dominate your knowledge and make you feel like a wee man. But really, he was friendly and I always enjoy small talk with strangers. It's one of my favorite things. When the conversation goes right, you can get the most random stories out of people. Like tonight, he heard about the time a hot air balloon crashed in Kate's backyard and they got so excited they closed their cats tail in the door, and it had to be amputated. Why did that come up in conversation? I don't know. Because it was 12 am and we had been harassed by a group of men in Santa costumes telling us we should dress more Christmas-y during the holidays. So, apparently in December you must dress like Christmas everyday. Isn't anyone else tired of only seeing Green/Red/Gold color schemes everywhere? How boring.

But, I do enjoy the holiday season. Someone sprinkled fake snow at all the Luas stops. Some day I want to have a white Christmas, with a fire place, and no gifts, just great food and great people. It would be lovely. Of course, I'd have some big strapping man that could shovel the snow. Dreams dreams. Because, I have the rest of my life ahead of me ;) and that's the best part of life.
