I got a dog a few weeks ago, and I am obsessed. I realize it's perfectly normal to think your dog is the cutest and best one in the whole world. But at this point, I'm happy sitting at home and hanging out with my dog.

He's going to be my best friend for the next ten years and I couldn't be happier about it. I was thinking about all the cool things we get to go through with each other. I got to be there when he got his balls removed, he'll get to see me get really mad at a boy and threaten to remove his. He'll be there when I get married, maybe when I have kids, when I get my first real job. He'll be there for me when I come home crying for any variety of reasons.

Most people told me not to get a dog because it was going to be a huge adjustment to my life, and I would constantly have to be caring for him and making sure he was let out.. blah blah blah. But, I have to say I think he's one of the best choices I made recently. I always do better when I have something to care for. He definitely gives me a reason to get up in the morning, something I was seriously lacking before.

Anyway, dogs are badass, and make my life a little more complete.
